I did an exam yesterday and I know this is stupid of me, but I can't remember if I wrote my candidate and centre number on the front of my paper However, I know I definitely wrote my name, and also I used additional paper and attached it to the back, and I know for definite that my full name, candidate number and centre number has all been written on both sheets of additional paper. If for some reason I hadn't put those on the front of the exam (which would be stupid I know...), and it hadn't been picked up by the invigilator, would it still be alright?

    Thanks!

If you put your name and your number on your additional sheets then you should probably be fine. Maybe you should call or email whoever is in charge of exams at your school and let them know, as they might know what happens and what the procedure is?

It will have been picked up. All the papers have to be sorted into candidate number order before dispatch so they could not send it without noticing yours was blank.

Yeah I'm going to go see the exams officer on Monday, but I'm worried in case it's either already been sent off or there's nothing they can now do about it

Phew! I hope so, the invigilators weren't exactly on top of it so just hoping someone's actually organised it right

I dont want to worry you, but im pretty sure that when you do exams, they put you in rows and the rows are sorted out in chronological order, so the candidate number should already be sorted out. I dont think the name really weighs down on anything as the examiner or the people wouldn't really know one name amongst the thousands of people who did the exam. The school should (i hope) have some procedure checking the papers so they may have picked it up and filled it in for you. The examiner would'nt really look at the name or candidate number, they'd just mark it and send it off. The people who recieve it after should see the centre number and stuff on the other page so it should be fine. Just double check with the school.

My paper was handed in last as she made sure I had attached the additional paper to the back correctly, so was put on the top of the pile. This means that the order will be wrong anyway so hopefully they'll check it!

Compost is an exam officer. She has already told you there is no need to worry.

If you want to roughly guess what mark you got, here's an unofficial mark scheme which is pretty much almost complete- Seems this years B2 lot are tenacious and impatient:

well i misspelled my name on all the exams paper i done tell now, i used to write my name usually different my entire life than how it was in the statement of entry, and when i filled my statement of entry to apply at IGCSE i wrote my name as exact as my passport, so when i came to exams i forgot the fact that i should write my name exactly from the statement of entry and did wrote it the way i used to do my entire life
I,m hell panicking about it because it is worst mistake that can be done, however i signed attendance and wrote center number+candidate number correctly
but not sure if they will make a problem for my misspelled name on all the 7 igcse i done this session :/
