    Hi
I'm thinking of putting Keele down as my safe choice for science with foundation year in 2017 as am struggling with AS levels at the moment. Does anybody know what the course is like and if you pass the first year can you then go onto MSCI chemistry. Also can you get a student loan for the foundation year?
    Thanks

    Hi lrosiep
You are able to progress onto the MChem course (the undergraduate Masters Chemistry course) from the Science foundation year and you would be able to claim student finance for your Foundation Year. Unfortunately however as the MChem is a 4 year course and the foundation year is a 1 year course, you wouldn't be able to apply for student finance for all years (as you can have a maximum of 4 years under student finance).

You are more than welcome to discuss some options with our Money, Advice and Guidance team, details of which can be found here: http://www.keele.ac.uk/studentfunding/aboutus/

I hope this helps but if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to get in touch!
    Thanks
