I am 16, looking into applying for Sandhurst in the future, does anyone know anything/have experience and could answer some of my questions?

Plenty do, but they might not be here everyday.

Post the questions, they'll be answered as and when people see the thread.

I myself am interested about attending Sandhurst. However I can't get a lot of advice on the matter. You could always check out the British army website, you'll get most of the answers from there. Who knows we might end up attending at the same time! Good luck pal.

What advice do you think you need about Sandhurst? If you want to be a commissioned officer in the British Army, you have to spend some time training at Sandhurst. The amount of time you spend there depends on what role, but most spend close to a year there.

True, on average 44 weeks I was told, more for specialist units. I want to join an illustrious, prestigious unit with history myself, but I want to be with the men I command on the battlefield, leading them effectively and getting the job done, with the fewest amount of casualties as possible. Do you know any prestigious units?

What advice do you require? I have not went through the process but I hope to after university, and I have found quite a lot of information about it online. Sites such as "arrse" will let you view a lot of information about applying etc and post your own questions, but of course there will be people on here who can do that as well.
