I reckon I'd hire out an entire cruise ship for the week and invite pretty much everyone I've ever known, maybe get some celebrities involved, and have a massive piss up

Buy a mansion in Knightsbridge. Donate to charities. Buy a Hermes Birkin bag and a whole collection of designer shoes. I might also buy a Bugatti.

Buy myself a nice house worth £1 million
Invest about £15 million in property (areas where house prices are due to rise significantly over the next few years, e.g. Enfield, Luton, Southampton)
Invest £3.5 million through various platforms (shares / peer-to-peer lending)
Keep the remaining £500,000 spread across various easy-access bank accounts

Buy TSR and reinstate the box :moon:

I dont' know to be honest, that's a lot of money for a private person.

I'd probably buy a house and set up a way of producing a guaranteed income to take care of bills (a couple of million in an account, just skim the interest every eyar), get my novels edited professionally, pay off my student loans, maybe see if my girlfriend wants to do the degree in child psychology she's been talking about and then see the rest of my family right and throw the rest at a couple of local charities whose work I support.
