    if so, why?

I'm a liberal person, and tolerant, and am a cultural libertarian......

though i believe people of my generation are pussies at heart..... I believe they are wimps of epic standards.....

like if discussing torture in a history lesson of 20th century history, then should the Holocaust or Pol Pot or Stalin be omitted? Yep, like Hitler and Stalin alone like...you know....SHAPED the 20th century, right???

And UK isn't a racist or discriminatory place as such, so why do people need them? it's just the PC movement going into excess....

*shrugs* I run my school's LGBT* Pride Society and I try to make it as 'safe' a space as possible. (Generally this just means a loosely-upheld code of conduct and taking measures to be as inclusive as possible). I, and other kids in my school who are queer, experience quite a bit of casual homophobia/trans*phobia and it's nice to have a place where I don't have to worry about that, at least for a little while.

It's hard to understand, maybe, if you're someone who has the luxury of feeling safe and included all the time. That's not to say that your opinion on the matter isn't important, or that you're somehow despicable because you are slightly more privileged than the next person (it annoys me when people dismiss others like this - privilege is not your fault, and nor is lack of it). But when you call people "wimps" or "pussies" you should first consider that their personal struggle will be very different to your own, and that not everyone may have the same privileges that you do
