How much ATP is produced in aerobic respiration? My notes say 32 (CGP) but the mark scheme says 36 (old paper) and online says 38 ...

    Which one is it?

    Also is this correct:
    1x Reduced FAD = 5ATP
    1x Reduced NAD = 3 ATP

I'm sure it's 32, and I remember my teacher telling us that one NAPH = 2.5 ATP and one FADH = 1.5 ATP.

it depends whether you are talking about NET gain or total produced:
    Net gain=32

i think it is 36 but atp is used during respiration so net gain is 32 i think but this is rarely achieved

Do we need to know about FAD and how much ATP is produced?

You need to know about FAD but dont think we need the exact amount of ATP produced at the end
