    Hi guys,
I was wondering whether anyone would be able to recommend a book to compare with "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest".
    Thanks in advance!

By book, do you mean prose or drama?

Cuckoo's Nest focuses on a few big themes but the main conceit of the novel is how society has systems in place that is used to control and manipulate people in order to make them conform and devoid them of individuality.

    Books that are similar:

    The Yellow Wallpaper - prose
    American Psycho - prose
    The Bell Jar - prose
    Equus - drama
    A Clockwork Orange - prose
    Trainspotting - prose
    Girl, Interrupted - prose
    I Never Promised You A Rose Garden - non-fiction
    The Gargoyle - prose
The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test - prose

    I hope this helps.

It's no problem, i did it for my A2 coursework, and yep it's really short so convenient especially if one of your texts is a full novel, my question was "To what extent can madness in 'The Yellow Wallpaper' and 'The bell jar' be said to successfully contribute to the conveying of a feminist message"
To what extent can madness in The Yellow Wallpaper and The Bell Jar be said to successfully contribute to the conveying of a feminist message?
