I missed majority of my exams as I was just feeling so down and it affected my work ethic so I came back to London and took the remaining year off. I was told I can resit 4 modules and would have to do the rest in a referred year. So I won't go into year 2. But I've read I can make an appeal and speak to the exam board itself once the results are out, has anyone ever been in this situation. Does anyone think it's possible to persuade them?

    Get extenuating circumstances. (Doctors note).
That'll get you uncapped resits (otherwise resits are capped at 40%).
You've no way of convincing them to let you pass this year - you still need the credits to make up your degree.
