    You have to make your own prospects, so I can't imagine why they would be any different in that regard.

    I agree with you on that, but I think the university you attend can make a difference if it has a good reputation and also good graduate contacts to help you get a job after.

    University reputation is very difficult to measure, although as long as we're not talking about the difference between, say, Cambridge and London Met, I don't think it will make much difference.

    Thanks for your reply! I'll probably go for Cardiff after all because I like their course structure better. I was asking because Newcastle is higher-ranked in the top uk universities guide so I didn't know if it would make any difference as they are relatively closed to each other. And I wanted to hear other views rather than following my intuition as last september I ended up studying at west London which didn't meet my expectations so I had to withdraw.
