BRITAIN'S truckers want to quit the EU despite being at the heart of the single market, their trade body revealed yesterday.

A Road Haulage Association poll found 61 per cent of its members want out amid growing frustration at Brussels red tape and cheap foreign labour.
Only 30 per cent want to stay in the European Union even though 80 per cent of all UK freight is moved by road - including goods brought in from the continent.
Many said the EU had "increased the regulatory burden" and helped foreign hauliers compete unfairly.
