I currently have an iPod Touch. I've had it for about 2 years now. I've had no problems with it; but the battery isn't going to last much longer.

I use it mostly for Spotify; so it has to be one which you can download apps on. I don't actually have that much music (maybe a few GB) on my ipod.

Budget wise, I'm not that fussed; but don't want to spend silly amounts on a new MP3 player.

I am happy with my ipod; but I am also happy to try out other brands.

    Thank you!

I don't think many people use MP3 players anymore. For Spotify you will need a device with either Android or iOS. From a quick look this leaves you two options - Samsung's MP3 attempt from a few years ago or another iPod touch.

Or perhaps use your phone/get a phone that can handle it.

^ not having to carry around two devices is pretty good.

The downside being that you also end up without a phone if you've drained the battery by listening to music/watching videos. Easily solved with an emergency portable charger though.

Thanks. Yeah, I did think about my phone. But it drains the battery so much.

Can relate to this all to well
Unfortunately I specialise in mp3 players that don't download apps and aren't fancy touch screen thingies

If you ever reconsider, I had a really great one which lasted 6 years from a company called "aura" (I haven't been able to find it though ;( )

Your best options are either another iPod touch, or an inexpensive Android phone :yy:
