The mixture formed when 25 cm3 of 2 mol dm–3 sodium hydroxide solution is
added to 50 cm3 of 2 mol dm–3 ethanoic acid, for which Ka = 1.7 × 10–5 mol dm–3.
The answer is D, but looking at the solution given, I noticed the assumption [H+]=[A-] was not made, I wanted to know why it was not used as it is a general assumption for weak acids.
Thanks in advance!!
I saw this question solved before but I had a doubt. Watch
