search their web site, they have storage lockers all over the UK - find the one closest to you via the postal code.
If you are a student they have special student rates. I'm also an overseas student, put all my stuff into one of the smallest lockers that they have.
They also supply all of the packaging, boxes, tape etc.

I have tried out Lovespace.co.uk before and they are pretty good. Prices are reasonable and website is easy to navigate. Customer service seems to be pretty friendly as well. Will definitely recommend it to my friends. :smile:

So Ive been looking around all day, and I'll give you a little summary of what happened with me. By the way, the second they get your information they call you up, but im in such a hurry to get my stuff put away that I do not care. I was looking at the smallest storage boxes because I only need to store a suitcase. The 10sq ft box can hold a little more than two large suitcases I believe.

Outcomes:
-Bigyellow.co.uk
- 10sqft, 15 weeks = 145.2 pounds

- Safestore.co.uk
- 10sqft, 15 weeks = 150 pounds (but they said they would beat any other storage company by 10 percent)

- Storage-units.co.uk
-10sqft, 15 weeks = 75 pounds (but they only have a few places in the middle of nowhere)

-Studentstoragebox.co.uk
- 1 large suitcase, 15 weeks = 85 pounds (free packing materials if you order boxes, and they pick your stuff up and drop it off)

I tried a few more, but those were the most notable ones. sites that were too hard to navigate I just left.

I ended up choosing studentstoragebox.co.uk because I dont have much to store, and they pick your stuff up, and drop it off wherever so you never have to worry about moving and getting it wherever you go. Furthermore, most of the other ones make you pay for insurance, a lock, etc. So, if you don't have too much to pack I would recommend them (note that it does get more expensive if you have more items). While not London, Southampton isn't far (presuming you can drive your stuff) and has tons of storage afaik (probably a byproduct of being a port city). My mum has a whole bunch of stuff in storage there, prices will vary but it may be worth looking into as an alternative, as I'd be surprised if it's not cheaper than London.

I know it's an old post but i just had the same need as the one you had there, and I found Spaceways.co.uk... for a large suitcase for 4 months (they charge per month) you'd have paid 36 pounds, including free pickup in London. there is a £19 delivery charge, so a total of 55, compared to your 85...pretty good deal IMO.

they can give you plastic boxes for free as well, and the storage is £4.9/month for these ones... and on their site they say they can store entire apartments too but I don't know the details there, probably on call only?

I'm sure they must have voucher codes somewhere!

I just ordered, I'll let this group know when they picked it up !

I know this thread is old but this might help current students. Last year at Bristol University I tried a few different solutions and LOVESPACE were by farthe best. They pick up from university for free, store it for £9.95 a month,then deliver it anywhere in the UK for £4.95 (so you can send it home or tonext year's accommodation). It worked really well for me because I don't have acar and it combined collection, storage, and delivery. Definitely a good shoutand this promo code should give you 10% off: LOVE547A

That's for any box with domesnsions up to 60cm x 60cm x 60cm and 25kg in weight. The more you store, the price goes down so if you stored 5 boxes it would go down to £5 per box per months. Check them out: https://lovespace.co.uk/students/

Try Excess International Movers, I used them a few years back to send luggage back home and they were good. Provide cheap student storage as well.
