When the North conquered Saigon.... how did they treat them? Did they allow a chance of reformation or were they brutal and sent them to prison camps and killed them...?

    I keep finding conflicting sources?

    Thankssss

what board are you doing? you might want to know what the answer is from your exam board perspective rather than online sources. your exam board may want you to give two side answer and require your own conclusion perhaps

''People who fought for the south were considered enemies, so they fled from re-educatoin camps.

Political relations didn't allow people to get exit visas to safely leave so they were boat refugees.

Once in control, the North Vietnamese persecuted Catholics, causing many Vietnamese Catholics to flee.

Once in control, the North Vietnamese persecuted the middle- and upper-class who were largely of Chinese ethnicity, so they too wanted to flee.''

So in a nutshell.... there was no reformation. Thank you so much! Good luck if you are also doing the exam tomorrow!
