Your tutors are professionals who deal with hundreds (possibly thousands) of students, many of whom will have their own problems and medical backgrounds. If they are informed - and there is no guarantee of this, I would in fact imagine that they are not informed unless they need classroom/lecture support - they will behave in a professional manner and act in your best interests.

Unsure what exactly it is you are afraid of? They're not about to announce it to everyone in the room.

I think a lot of us will recognise that awkward feeling it's like an icky cringey feeling that makes you feel all exposed and like running away and avoiding everyone who knows or is involved in whatever has now been 'revealed'...

The feeling is uncomfortable as **** that's for sure what to do about it?... Nothing act as normal. You've done the right thing in telling them. Depression fills you with self doubt and wreaks havoc on your confidence. If you were full of confidence you wouldn't care if they knew or not but you're not you're feeling vulnerable and exposed because you're low right now but take this as another opportunity to give depression the two fingers .
You have every right to tell people in charge of your education and 'care' that you're vulnerable and it's understandable you feel the way you do having told them but sit with it, it's for the best.

I don't think they do know, but even if they did who cares? You've got nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about, depression is unfortunately a very normal thing today, and you won't be the only one on your course dealing with it.

Hold your head up high, carry on fighting it, you'll make it to the other side eventually!
