Graphics Calculator Help (Sharp EL-9900)

Not sure where to post this, but I'm kind of desperate and couldn't find anything on google. My college lends out a Sharp EL-9900 calculator to all the further maths students for the year but I started to get strange lines on the display of mine, so I spoke to my teacher on the day of my FP3 exam and he lent me a different one so I didn't have to worry about it during the exam, but the new one just developed the same problem and I have 2 exams tomorrow and wanted to know if anyone knew how to sort it out.

Also I obviously have to give them both back at the end of the year and I don't want to have to pay for replace them if they're broken :frown:
