    Hi everyone,

So I just went to a local Halfords and had a mini interview, however the manager asked me to come back tomorrow for a scenario/roleplay thing to see how I can cope with the job.
This is my first job and I am slightly nervous but not too nervous.

He told me that I will have to go over an aisle and memorize everything and then he will act like a customer in which I will have to try and sell the object to him.

If anyone has any help or experience in which they can help me with, I'd be so grateful.

    Thank you,
    Alex

Have a think about price versus value, if there are two options the customer could buy, they might want to buy the cheaper one, but there might be more margin in the more expensive one - which one offers more value for the customer?

Also, think about what the product will be used for - are there any other materials or bits of kit the customer might need eg if they are buying car polish, do they have cleaning cloths? Try and see if you can suggest/offer associated products.

If you don't know the answer to a question, say you will go and ask/look it up.

Remind them of the returns policy if it is relevant. Wish them a good day or enjoy using the product.
