    Hey all,

I know this might be a bit late since GCSE Maths exam is over BUT would examiners mark the paper/s if some of the answers are written in Pencil?

I'm pretty sure they don't scan the papers because its not multiple choice? Plus they would have a mark scheme to follow so why would they scan papers?

Has this happened to anyone before?

I don't think it matters as I wrote some answers in pencil in my Stats GCSE exam last year and managed to get 3 UMS off and A*

Yeah. I don't think it matters but I'm 99% sure they mark them not scan them...

What if 50% of the paper was written in pen and the other 50% in pencil? Manually marked? o.O
