    Hi guys,

So next year I have to start A levels and it's meant to be incredibly hard and 10x harder than gcses. So I chose A level maths. I wanted to know was has anybody got any tips for me for Yr 12 maths. I'm doing AS/A2 maths where I study algebra etc with core 1 core 2 etc. So I wanted to ask was have anyone got any tips for me to get use to the jump to A level maths and to prepare for it. I want at least a B at A level maths. Also have you guys got any pointers to prepare for it during the summer holiday and can someone please write about the stuff I go through at A levels so what is core 1 and how many cores there are. I don't mind what spec you talk about.

    Can contact these people http://www.yourstudyquestions.co.uk

    Exam Solutions and Solution bank!!
In the summer, go to http://www.examsolutions.net/ select C1 and C2 and look through all the videos.

Ask your teachers now to give you C1 and C2 books to do over summer. If they don't, visit http://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/...ann-textbooks/ and select C1 Solution Bank and C2 Solution Bank.

They're basically the text book but in pdf format

Examsolutions almost follows all the chapters I believe.

You can then go onto S1 once you've done C1 and C2.

I did this over this over last summer and it has helped me SOOO much, so I would recommend it to you! Also, I did furthermaths at GCSE so I found it a good transition to A level Maths.

The key is to not worry! You'll be fine as long as you prepare well!

    This is regarding Edexcel btw
