    Im confused how to got about question 9(iii) how do i use the fact that it is a translation to help me.

    If you like, you can forget about the 5 part as it's the Ae^-kt and the Be^-kt parts that need to be the same.

    Now, A and be have to be such that Ae^-kt = Ce^-k(t+60). This is because, as you can see from the graph / the translation, for any value in the first range, 60 seconds later it will be the same in the second range, but the C value is not the B value that we're looking for - it's an intermediate step.

    You already know what A is so you just have to define C. It may help to split up the exponential part so that you're left with it being of the form Be^-kt as required, which is going to be something related to the C value which is defined in terms of A.
