Edexcel got mad and told him not to saying he couldn't make any more unofficial MS because of copyright and teachers using the papers for mocks. Wish he could verify our solutions or something to give us something concrete

What about the cases where S gets a positive number and R get a negative number???

You have only considered the positive cases???

I see exactly what you were doing. But the question was phrased badly in a way I thought R and S can have different X values.

It was a normal distribution with mean 3.43 and a standard deviation I can't quite remember - sorry! But standardising (3-3.43)/s.d. gave a z value with p(Z<z) of 0.2546

For 6b, I worked out the top 20% as the 20% with the longest times (I'm an idiot) because I misread the question. Do you think I'll lose all three marks or scrape one for doing the right method, just with the wrong values? I need all the marks I can get tbh
