Just came out of my English language A2 exam and I'm so disappointed in myself. This is by,y best subject and I worked my bum off for it all year yet when I go into the exam I blank and panic. I was expected an A* overall with 2 As last year and hopefully and A in my course work. If I got a C in this exam how drastically would my grade go down. I feel sick it was the worst I have ever performed in an exam

See if your teacher or exams officer can do a UMS chart for you to work out how many points you needed - that's what my history teacher did for us. You can probably do it yourself? Take your exact UMS from last year and your UMS from your coursework (if you know it), and you can compare it to the average UMS needed in the past to work out what you needed to get for each grade. Quite often it's less than you would have thought. Although if you're already panicking, it might not be the best idea... Just so you know, that's an option. And remember, if it was a horrible exam, the grade boundaries will have been lowered because people will have done badly.

Heavily mitigated by your UMS last year if it was very high (above A*) you should be ok if you got a low B/high C

Honestly there's no point fretting about it, English Language always seems to go worse than it does , just relax.
