I'm currently studying 12th standard under the karnataka state education board.
I just wanted to know, if Oxford university accepts students from Indian metro boards for undergraduate course. If yes what percentage of marks do they expect. ?

This is what it says on the website:

Year XII qualification, studied with either the CBSE or ISC examination boards, with an achievement of 90% in each of the five subjects studied. Science subjects may also require that candidates take the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) entrance examinations as a pre-condition for entry.

Indian State Board students cannot apply without either CBSE, ISC or IIT entrance (for science applicants only) qualifications. Oxford started recognising the CBSE and ISC qualifications only recently (Cambridge doesn't even recognise these).
I suggest you take the American qualifications to be eligible for entry. These include an SAT score of at least 2100 (for the old SAT; you'll need to check their website for the new SAT minimum score) and a 5 in at least 3 APs, OR the SAT score along with at least 700 in 3 SAT Subject Tests.

    Hey vedhant,
As evar12345 rightly said Oxford doesn't accept Indian state boards!
It recognizes only CBSE AND ICSE boards !
I am from Mumbai and belong to a CBSE. Board! So in my case I need to score 90% above in all my relevant subjects for my course !
Also I have given SAT II subject tests in phy, chem, maths and AP's last month! The results are yet to come. So i cn go under american qualification too.
I suggest u must apply wid american qualification too! Cuz thts the only way out!
