Changed mind about deferred entry!?

Ok basically i chose to defer my entry for uni this year until 2008 to go travelling with my mate
Shes now decided against travelling and i'd much rather go to uni this year instead
Does anyone know if its possible to change my entry to this year instead of next?
Or is it possible to gain entry for this year through clearing

Any help would be much appreciated!

I think you would probably need to phone up the Univeristies involved and UCAS. As the universities may not be able to accomodate you. In addition to this you would need to sort out your student finance-if required-and have the risk of that arriving later, because it is a late application.

Judging from what I've read in regards to changing course (this is something I'm looking into) you need to contact the University to have your application changed, and they will adjust it through UCAS.

Yeah the only way to sort it would be to contact the uni directly. Then if they do agree you'll have to find out about sorting accomodation and getting a loan application in pronto.

Phone your firm and insurance unis and ask. As long as they've got a place for you, it shouldn't be a problem, but as others have said, you'll need to sort out accommodation and finance ASAP. If for some reason they can't change your offer, I think you'd need to get them to release you from your deferred offer before you could go through Clearing.
