I actually liked the ontological and evil questions

Ontological argument was very specific (only 1 key objection) so I didn't have to guess and filter out what to or not to write about. I used Hume, Russell and Davies. The a02 was a standard 'does the O.A. have value for 'X'' but with different wording.

I also did Evil. I liked it, it was a bog standard Augustinian tradition theodicy question. The ao2 was also good - natural vs moral evil. I used Rowe(natural) , Mackie(moral) and Calvin(moral).

I can see why some people found it hard, the majority of my class didn't really like the paper either. So grade boundaries may be lower this year.

I'm not sure how it went.

I answered ontological and body and soul.

For the ontological I used Hume, Gaunilo, Russell, and a bit of Aquinas. As PrinceNuada says, the A02 question seemed to be very similar to previous years, however the A01 question was more precise than usual.

For body and soul I wasn't quite sure of the wording. However, I wrote about different views of dualism (Plato, Descates, Aquinas, and Hindu), as well as how each of these view the nature of the body-soul relationship, and then a small section on hard materialism (Dawkins and Ryle) with a too short, imprecise bit on soft materialism. The a02 question, like the ontological, seemed to be a pretty common one and I felt OK (ish) with it, however I had already used some material in the A01 essay which I then repeated.

Overall, not sure about it. I really hope it went OK and I can totally see why it might be considered harder due to the specific nature of the questions and the wording.

How do you think you did mim? And how did you answer each question you did?

So body and soul I found quite straight forward but I focused all on dualism wrote; Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Christian and Aquinas' views.
For the 20 marker I wrote alot on Dawkins and then argued against it.

Evil Is my weakest area but the question was quite open being Augustinian tradition rather than Augustine thoedicy so I wrote his theodicy, the developments and the supports and the free will defense... the problem is i think i did too much and badly
The 20 maker was good but i ran out of time so didn't balance it.
