I feel a bit embarrassed asking my head of 6th form before I even have my results so I'm just wondering if anyone here has any idea how likely it is.

I did really badly in year 12, so in year 13 I did half A2s and half AS. Now I'm in year 14 doing another A2 and retaking some of the A2 exams from last year. But it's all gotten ****ed up and I'm not going to get into my firm, and I don't like my insurance and I'll not get the grades for that either anyway. I don't have thousands of £££ to sit exams privately either

Usually they wont because the 6th form gets money from the government for your studies but it might not for the 4th year. It depends how many exams you want to do. It wont take thousands of pounds. It will probably cost around £50 per module if you book early.

I didn't think that private entries could cost you into the thousands but haven't done it myself, so not sure.

I know of someone who was in the year above me that is now in the year below, so I suppose that it is possible, though he had some extenuating circumstances. Best person to ask is your school if it comes to it.

Good luck! You might end up in your firm if you're lucky.
