I have accepted Manchester as my firm choice for 2016 entry for Pharmacy, and the occupational health checks are a condition of the offer. I filled out the questionnaire in March, but today I got a call back saying I'd been referred to the occupational physician to review my case.

I've had to declare a couple of mental and chronic illnesses I've experienced over the past two years and I'm really nervous that the mental health issues are going to prevent me from being able to study - it's taken me three years to complete my A levels already as I was pulled out of sixth form last year because of it!

Has anyone else applied to Pharmacy with similar difficulties and could give me some peace of mind? Or even give me an idea of what this assessment will be like? I have no idea what to expect ..

Have a read of this. It sounds like they want to help and will make the required arrangements but need for to you be willing to help yourself and comply with what they put in place to support you.
