I'm applying for my first part-time job and there's a Sales Associate vacancy in Holland and Barrett. However, it says on the application that I will need to be qualified to advise on all products and and to help with that, I'll have to complete a learning programme that could take up to 90 hours of study over 6 months. What does this mean? That I won't actually start working and getting paid until after then or what? I'm confused ;-; if anyone has worked as a Store Associate for Holland and Barrett, did you do this? Also, I need to focus on schoolwork and exams obviously, so for anyone who's done this, did it significantly interfere with school?
