It is my second time doing my first year of a levels and due to circumstances the choice of Art & Design has backfired and left me with the chance of only passing this year. And I aim to go to uni still and I know the grades i need to get there and i really feel art wont get me the grade i need. So i had the plan to change my subject next year and do fast track in order to get a complete 3 a levels and get the grades i need. But my college has messed me about with the information regarding the only subject they previously told me was the only available fast track left, and are telling a friend of mine who is also interested conflicting information. Now it has been suggested that the subject isnt available to me and that i have carry on a subject they know i struggle with and am highly unlikely to do well enough in. On-top of this they told me that if i failed art i couldnt come back at all despite doing 2 other subjects and being predicted strong grades in those. Anyone have any advice on how to handle this situation??
Confused as to my colleges advice and guidance Watch
