I have just found out I have been accepted unconditionally for goldsmiths in September. Doing an integrated degree in English. I am waiting on a reading list but I have checked out the course online and I will be studying literature from 16th century to the modern era in my first year. What can I do to prepare? What should I read? I didn't cover much English in my access course and I remember very little from GCSE's as I'm 22 now.

    Any help/advice would be appreciated.

You can't really do much than just to wait for your reading list really.

The other option is just to see what modules you'll be taking and then read other authors outside your reading list on your prescribed modules and take it from there.

You can't do much in terms of trying to practise essay techniques and stuff like that because that's a thing that only you'll know when you get there and write a uni essay.

Just look up "Literary Canon" and then go from there!

    Good luck and enjoy uni!
