Edexcel Maths and Further maths grade allocation

Does anyone know how the grades are allocated.
I know they optimise the Maths a-level grade but do they use the combination for the lowest total to get the highest grade u can achieve and then use the other modules for further maths or do they use all the highest ums modules for maths and rest for further maths
