    HI,
    please can someone help me with this, i dont want the answer i just cant recall how to figure it out and its driving me insane.

    a) The original price was £54 and they had £9 off. What percentage is this?a £720. I only paid £540. What percentage of the original price did I pay?
    can someone show me how i would work them out?

    54/10=10% of your answer, to find 1% it is 54/99=
    take away the first answer by the second one= 9% of £54=DO IT YOURSELF
