it may just be because you havent broken them in properly yet or it might be your feet sweating that is causing it.

It's definitely not sweat haha. It's the material I think. No wonder they were selling for £20!

I had inexplicable squeaking coming from my trainers - I ended up giving them to charity because I was so ****ing tired of sounding like Chuckie from the Rugrats.

My school shoes squeak! It was really embarassing when I took a toilet break during my GCSE and the shoes squeaked all the way to and from the door !

I just read if leather shoes squeak you should rub lotion or baby oil into the soles? **** that.

My converse sometimes squeak when I've been wearing them for ages... I, either deal with it, or walk like a r.e.t.a.r.d.

One of the invigillators for my A-levels had squeaky shoes... he had to take them off because so many people complained, poor bloke.

I don't know how to help... are they plastic or leather?
Try talc inside them just incase it is sweat!

I think they're plastic. They're white trainers.

Here they are:

My converse hightops do the same thing! I thought it was just mine!
I once needed some new trainers and I had to get some shoes to go to a wedding in, but I didn't have enough money to get both, so I tried to get a pair that would do for both.
I ended up with some leather (maybe fake leather) trainer-shoes that cost about £15. They were not the best of both as I hoped for them to be. They were rubbish and they squeak like mad, but its not a normal squeak, its that leathery squeak that is really annoying. Sometimes I still have to wear them if I ruin my first pair of trainers on a night out (from walking accros fields to get home etc). I hate them so much, I need some more and was going to go to get some soon, but meadowhall was flooded. Oh well, I'll have to wait.

i used to work in footlocker and saw trainers everyday. none of them (except for maybe some nike trainers) are made very well, especially lacoste.

the squeeking isnt your fault, the trainers are made bad. you just have to put up with them, but putting a natural wax (beeswax - 3.99 from footlocker!) on the so called 'leather', may help as it keeps the leather hydrated and stops cracks n creasing

I am getting used to mine. They don't do it all of the time now like they used to but it can get a little annoying when you wear them for ages and they get a bit squeaky.

They're pretty and green so they get away with it though.

Putting in clear plastic wrap in the back of my converse shoes prevents them from squeaking. ;D Or you could try plastic bags which is what I tried using first. ^_^

--- If that doesn't get rid of the squeaking completely then wrap the plastic wrap around on the back of your foot right below your ankle and see if that works better.
