    my art teacher said that i might not get funding if i do a foundation art course at a uni

    is this true

    i want to do a foundation year to go on to do a bachelors

    will i only get funded for the bachelors

    Yes. Art foundation courses are classed as further education and not higher education and as a result they are not eligible for student finance. They are free for under 19 year olds but incur fees for those above that age, although the fees are lower than university fees.
