I have been considering applying to various courses like Economics or Acclunting and Finance, but I cannot make my mind up simply because I don't think my existing backround knowledge about the course will be adequate. I am wondering what background knowledge I need to be able to apply and succeed at the interview for an Economics degree course? I know some things but not to extent of my friends who study Economics in IBDP whereas I am taking the IBCP course which comprises of a BTEC Level 3 Edtended Diploma, which I had chosen business for, and 2 DP Subjects, which I had chosen English and Maths for. I have an A in GCSE Maths which I believe will be very useful. I am extrememly anxious with my course choice since I have to tailor my personal statement to explain my desire to study the course which will need evidence. I know I should study what I'm interested in and I am interested in Economics, but I don't know a lot of "fundamental" aspects about it. Your help and advice will be extremely useful.
