I've just got back from Bath's Open Day - really enjoyed it, the campus looks great. I'm interested in Civil Engineering at Bath but, after the presentation today, am concerned the course is very building-based (if that makes any sense). This is the first university open day I've visited so don't know if this is true for all civil eng courses. At the moment, I'm more interested in environmental, roads etc. engineering rather than structural for buildings and I know Bath is big on collaborating with its architects.
Is anyone at Bath doing civil eng who could give some advice/info on their experiences of the course?
