Veteran rocker Meat Loaf collapsed during a "gig" :

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Meat Loaf collapsed Thursday night due to severe dehydration near the end of his concert at the Northern Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
He was admitted to a nearby hospital to undergo routine tests. His vital signs are stable and normal — additional tests are being performed but he is responsive and recovering well.
He extends his heartfelt thanks for everyone's support and well wishes, and is expecting a speedy and full recovery.
Any concert postponements / rescheduled dates will be announced at a later time.
Thank you for your support and understanding.

I hope that he gets better.

    I'm sure he'll be fine.

I think he's overworked and suffering from it at his age.

He's collapsed on stage a few times now, even as far back as the early 2000s.

The show he puts on is exhausting, especially for a man of his size throwing all the passion and emotion he has into the performance. even back when Bat out of Hell came out in 1977 he was physically burning out doing the show every night and came off stage drenched in sweat and on the verge of not being able to stand up.

Hope he's alright, one of the all time legends of Rock and roll for me.

Good to hear he is alive. I assumed he was dead.
