    This is capitalism. After the news markets started rallying because they think the emotional effect will make Remain win.

    If you abstract from the event, then you get a more palatable readthrough.

    Markets clearly see a Brexit as a negative event, and the increased perceived likelihood of a Remain vote, sent the market higher.

    To say that the markets celebrated the death is a little extreme. The markets 'celebrated', if you like, the reduced Brexit probability, not the death which happened to lead to it. There are many things that have been swinging that probability in recent weeks - markets are global.
