I know three languages fluently and I speak a variety of others.

Some a few words, others I can hold decent conversations.

Does this make me a polyglot or am I just trilingual?

Well, Google says that it's someone who knows or uses several languages.
Google also says that several is more than two but not many.
    1 + 1 = 2
Yeah, I guess that makes you a polyglot.

Everyone's definitions of fluency differs, but I'd say if you were comfortable with everyday social/workplace interactions, able to follow the TV and read a (modern) book in several languages, then you'd be a polyglot.

Trilingual is pretty amazing anyway! Very envious.

    Thanks

I'm very grateful for knowing all these languages.

I can read and write in English, French and Spanish.

If I picked up a book in Italian or even Portugese, I'd be more than capable of, but I can't really speak them.
