I've been chatting online to a girl for a few months. We have messaged everyday in that time. She refers to us meeting up, I've asked her out once and she said she'd like to meet up with friends first. That hasn't happened yet. She then every so often refers to us meeting up and doing stuff so I asked her out again. She then takes longer to respond and when she answers she seems reluctant and almost sounds like to me she's making excuses. We talk on fb and we will talk to silly o'clock sometimes other times you can see she's online but doesn't reply for hours later. When I asked her to meet She said she was busy but she's planning a few drinks with a friend and I'm welcome to go. She jokes around, makes fun of me, asks what I'm doing etc etc but trying to get her to come out seems hard. Do you think she's just messing around because she's bored or may be too shy or nervous to meet I do t know, am I wasting my time?

It's hard to say, but when I met my ex online meeting up for the first time was so incredibly difficult. Even when we'd met, being at the same party, when I went back home and he wanted to meet again at his home, and alone this time, I panicked and thought about getting out of it. After the first time, it gets easier. It's a pretty big step though for a lot of people.

Hmm I totally understand that she may be reluctant to meet after all she doesn't really know me from Adam. Neither do I know her. I've suggested meeting for a drink in a public place, again she wants to meet when she is out with her friends and said she'll let me know when they are going out, she never has.......

Online dating is where you find the worst and most desperate losers, you are wasting your time with here because she's probably a guy
