# Mei differential equations 2016 Watch

1. I don't see any thread on this topic so I'm starting one. I just wanna see how everyone else did it and if someone can post an unofficial mark scheme
2. ?anyone
3. I did! I did questions 1, 3 and 4
4. hey ! i will try to post what i remembered although it may well be wrong:

1)a) roots to aux equation were -0.5 and -1.5 ?
i heard people got a min point of ln9 but i couldnt get it
b) coeffictient of ate^-0.5t was 1 ? dont remember arbitrary constants

2)a) think i may have got something like (x^4)cosx +(x^3)sinx +C(x^3)
b) dont remember the solution but i think i got a constant C of pi/2 ?
c) i think i got 0.0107 ? (maybe 0.107)

3)a) just some algebra stuff but if you want to try i think it was mass 90kg and resistive force 0.36v^2
b) i cant remember exactly, think i got a terminal velocity that was a square root somewhere around 49
c) i think i got a distance of 107

4) really cant remember anything but i think the delay was (2/3)pi or (4/3)pi... something like that anyway

Thanks and I think you got most of them correctly
