I want to do economics at uni and have decided to choose: Maths, Geography and Economics. Do you think that is ok and also whether I can get into a top uni with 3 A-levels or do I need to do a fourth subject. If so, what would you recommend as I am not sure what to do as a 4th subject to do economics later on?

They're great subjects for Economics. You don't need an extra A Level to get into the top unis, instead it's more important to get high grades in your 3 choices

Those subjects seem fine to me

You should only do 4 subjects if you really want to, don't try taking on another subject just for the sake of it, because 3 As are much better than 4Bs

    Hope this helps

That's a solid combination. It depends what top uni you are talking about -- you need Further Maths for Cambridge for instance, but LSE don't seem to care.

Unless you want to go to Oxbridge, I think it's a smart idea to only do 3... wish I had.
