Hi everyone, can anyone give me some advice as to whether I should choose Economics or Geography at A-level. I'm equally interested in both and in quite a dilemma. My other A-levels are Biology, History and Psychology could anyone tell me out of Geography and Economics which one would complement my other A-levels the most or which one is more respected by universities. I don't know what I want to do at university and im thinking perhaps Economics will be more beneficial to me as it will show a wider range of skills whereas History and Geography are both humanities. Please help, I need to submit my options by July 1st. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would say they are both equally respected and both go well with your other choices however i would prob pick economics as it contains some numeracy then again i don't know much about Geography. Nevertheless i advise that you pick what you think you will perform strongest in as they are both creditable.

I would say that Geography would be the best to go with your other subject choices.

Economics has gone really well with my History A-level, because my History course was on Modern Britain 1951-2007, of which the economy is a huge factor in. I would say Economics is also a really useful subject to learn so you can understand a lot of political debate (and realise when it's lies/misinformation).
