    Hey everyone,

so what do you think about friends of the opposite gender holding hands? I'm a girl... normally I would hold hands with my friends female and male. At first I didn't feel comfortable holding my guy friends' hands until I realised if I could hold the hands of my female friends why not just allow my guy friends to hold my hand too as they only reason I was against it was because they were male.
Some of them are in relationships, some are not and their girlfriends' don't mind but even at times join in to hold hands with me too lol I think it is because a lot of their girlfriends are also good friends of mine so we're all friends. I guess they trust me and their boyfriends' too.
I'm single and the other day I was with my guy friend and girl friend chatting while we walked down the road into a shop. My guy friend was in the middle holding both of our hands and people were looking at us as if he was our pimp LOL. I don't get it. It's not like I was kissing the guy. Siblings hold hands or maybe they don't??

I have a girl friend who I often end up holding hands with, it's just the kind of person she is that she does it with many of her friends. I think it should be fine but a lot of people do see it as more of a sign of affection - I say just do it :cute:

Idk why but it doesn't feel normal unless you're in a relationship

Putting your arm around them still feels fine, though :hmmmm:

    LMAO the pimp part
If my guy friends are comfortable with it I usually hold their hands and it's honestly no big deal it's just platonic affection so holding hands with friends of the opposite sex is something loads of people do

It's a very affectionate gesture. The most common first physical advance for me to make when dating. Not sure if this is a mistake or not but for me it comes before kissing in an organised date rather than copping off situation. I think it can be appropriate for opposite sex friends but of course open to other interpretations.

Holding hands is a little too intimate for me. However I do hold their arm and lay on it ( I love when they low key start flexing). Guys can be so damn cute sometimes!!!!!!!!:woo:

This is probably sooo irrelevant..not sure,,,
Once...I took this guys pen from him cuz he was being really annoying...so he grabbed onto my arm to try and retrieve his pen...the teacher we had that day was really wierd...she legit started telling us off in front of the whole class...asking if it is our mating season....that was embarrassing af...and then she started going off about how when a teenage boy and a girl even have the slightest bit of contact..they become sexually charged....I hated that teacher since that day...😢it was sooooo embarrassing cuz the whole class was laughing....
