Right, I've just finished my AS levels. I was doing History, Philosophy and Ethics, Sociology and English Language and Literature. However, I didn't actually sit the History exams and I'm definitely dropping it.

I want to move colleges, the ideal college I want to go to does not do Philosophy and Ethics.

Having dropped History, as I don't want to do it anymore, I will obviously be down to 3 A Levels.

But, I am considering also dropping Philosophy and Ethics because they do not do it at the college I want to go to. Instead I will pick up another A Level course, most probably Media.

So to conclude I would leave A2 with 2 A levels and 2 AS grades.

Would this be okay? I'm not going straight to university after, I'll be doing an apprenticeship first and may go to university if that doesn't work out.

My question is, would I be able to get into university, after having completed an apprenticeship in my gap year with 2 complete A levels and 2 AS grades?

    Thanks in advance.

Mostly likely I dont think it would work. Most universities want 3 A levels but who knows, they might look at you as an exception but it depends on the uni.
