Last GCSE and A-level Results Day quite a few students posted with problems understanding aspects of their exam results statements (the ones issued on the day, usually by their school or college).

We'd like to help for Results 2016 by running an article explaining how to interpret results statements, and using some annotated scans to help.

Could you help by sending us a scan of your results statement? You can attach it to a reply or to a PM.

We need some for GCSEs and some for A levels.

You can erase all personal references so no one will know who you are. Alternatively we can do this for you.

We'll credit everyone who helped but make it impossible to identify which slips belongs to which TSR user.

    Thanks everyone.

Here's my AS and A Level results slip! My printer wouldn't work so I took a photo and tried to enlarge it a bit, I apologise if it's too small/blurry to be of any use!

Not sure if you still want some, but I've got my GCSE slip, and my school e-mails them to us, so it would be a different format (slightly  ) if you want it?

That would be great - we're still collecting them!

    Thanks.

Thanks so much - we'll get them redrawn anyway - so no worry about quality.

We'll choose one or two that show quite a lot of the abbreviations and weird acronyms that confuse students and annotate them to explain what it all means.

Everyone who has contributed an exam slip will be acknowledged.

    Sssh! Nobody noticed!
I guess it was a mixture of having a bad teacher and the fact that none of us really cared about the theory...
Still haunts me a bit to this day, but I've come to embrace it
