Greetings, I have insured Bath but will probably end up going there (money reasons since my first choice is in London). I am trying to find Accomodation but can't seem to get around it as I have never lived in the uk so I don't know where I should be looking are wise to be close to the uni (less than 2 or 3 miles). Can someone help me out with this? I have tried searching on rightmove but not sure about the proximity of the places found.

Ooof.. quite tricky, as it's your insurance and you sound decided-ish on not going to your firm - but just check that any loans, grants, maybe a part time job etc might be enough for you to be in London, maybe not.

Get in touch with the uni first and see what they can do for you - spending your first year off campus would not be much fun.

And I think living 2-3 miles within uni, although not impossible, would be very expensive, so I'm not sure how it'd pan out. Students live in an area called Oldfield Park. I stayed in Southdown myself and that was fine, though it was 20-25 minutes by bus from uni, I still liked it.

But I think, first step is to ask the uni for advice, as well as what to do about your situation with firm/insurance etc.
