    Hello,So I am a medical student who is offered the ability to directly start either pathway ( medicine or computer engineering ) one big factor that bothers me is that u study alot in MED school, if i switch to enginneering would i expect more free time? Plus i Love both fields but love CPE more, thanks!

    thats definitely not the question you should be asking. What you should be asking is, do you want to be a doctor or a engineer?

    Not only do you have lots of work during a medical degree (including placements) theres lots of training + studying (amount depends on specialism) after as well as long hours but people do it because they want a career as a doctor
