how old do you have to be to go on holiday without an adult? Watch

    i'm 17 (18 in Feb) and for the summer me and my friends want to go to France for the weekend. would we be allowed to go or do we have to wait till were 18?

    It's more about responsibility than age, no one can stop you from travelling. The first time I booked, payed for and traveled myself without my parents or their help was when I was 18, I went to Paris for 5 days.

    Yes... I went on holiday without parents from about 15yo.

    As long as one of you is over 18 you'll be fine, your main issue will be finding a hotel that accepts under 18s
