Hi there. I've just started C3 in Maths and I've got some homework. Most of it is fine but there's one question that confuses me and I can't find anything about it online.
I am given a function in the form f:x --> 1/(x-1).
I've never seen this notation before. Is f:x--> the same as f(x)=?
If not, what does it mean?
A very quick question of functions Watch

Yep, they're the same thing.
